Made to Order Policy

What is a Made-to-Order Item?

Our made-to-order items are gowns that are produced only once an order is made. The purpose of our made-to-order selection is to minimise carbon emissions and therefore we are more sustainable. We cater to a range of sizes and offer XXS to 9XL in this collection.

All made-to-order items require production time to be produced, this time-frame will differ depending on fabrics and design. Production time-frames and an estimated ship date will be advertised on the product page at the time of purchase, this date changes depending on the day you choose to purchase.

Please ensure to read this made-to-order policy and the product page (of the garment you are intending on purchasing) carefully before committing to your purchase and placing an order. When purchasing a made-to-order item, you will need to acknowledge the estimated ship date and tick and agree to the date, before you are able to add the item to your cart.

Is there a chance that you may hold a made-to-order garment in stock?

Made-to-order means that the garments are not in stock and only commence production once you have placed an order. However, in some circumstances, some standard sizes may be held in stock due to returns and restocks on best selling dresses. If you are on a time constraint, feel free to contact our customer care agent to confirm available products in stock.

Can I make further alterations or customise a design?

Most of our made-to-order gowns can be altered through our sister store A&N Luxe Label, for an additional fee.

Alterations may include:
- Add or Remove a slit
- Add or Remove sleeves
- Change back design
- Change colour
- Change the fabric
- Add additional train length - We cannot shorten train lengths or entirely remove the train - this is an alteration on the customer's end.

We also accept special design orders on simple dresses and styles (excluding Bridal or Beaded gowns.) Custom gowns which are created/made from scratch especially for you are excluded from any promotional discount codes.

Simply send us your design ideas via the online contact form.

Can I Cancel my Made-to-Order item?

Once an order has been placed and production has commenced the order can be cancelled for a partial refund. There will be a 50% production fee deducted from the refund total.

If productions has not begun, a 10% administration fee will be deducted from the refund total.

Alternatively, customers can cancel an order for a full store credit that is valid for 12 months of use. If a customer originally purchased the order using a store credit, we will re-issue the amount in a store credit only.

All cancellations must be approved by the management team prior to processing a refund.

Please see the full Cancellation Policy for further information.

Can I Return a Made to Order Garment?

Yes, if for some reason your made-to-order purchase (excluding custom orders) did not fit as expected or simply did not suit you; you may return it for a store credit only. Please refer to our Returns Policy for more information.

However, before returning a made-to-order garment, we recommend seeking post-purchase alterations (if required) rather than returning it and having it re-produced from scratch, as return shipping fees can add up to be costly.

Benefits of altering the garment on your end:

  1. Saving the environment by reducing our emissions footprint.
  2. Having the garment fit to your body measurements.
  3. Save on return shipping fees which can quickly add up
  4. Save time on re-production waiting times and return-shipping times.

Additional Information

Colour & Fabric: As the garment is being made from scratch at different points in time, Made-to-order garments may differ in colour or pattern placement to the original cut as displayed on the website. This is due to fabric sourcing where an entirely new batch of fabric has been used. Even though the colour of the fabric sourced is as close as possible to the original colour shown, we will not be held liable for any minor variations in colour.

Slight Adjustments: Construction of made-to-order garments can change without formal notice. Slight adjustments may include but not limited to stitching, dress internals ie. padding/boning/lining, straps & zippers.

- There may be a delay during busy periods from March - June and from September - October. We are unable to estimate the delay period however it may take up to three months for production. With made-to-order items being in high demand during those months, we suggest ordering in advance and allowing four months for your dress to be produced and delivered for major events.

- In addition to this policy, you may be required to acknowledge and accept a contract outlining further detailed information regarding production of your customised made-to-order garment.
